What's included in the tour prices?

Package prices are based on twin-share accommodation, and include breakfasts, lunches on riding days, guide, fully-prepared KTM offroad motorbike, 3rd party road / offroad insurance, all necessary riding gear and fuel. Single rooms are usually available for an additional 20 euros per night supplement.

What is the minimum number of riders needed to book a tour?

There's no minimum - we'll schedule a tour, even if it's for just 1 rider.

How many riders will there be in a tour group?

For group bookings of more than 3 or 4, the tour will be private, with no other riders invited on the tour. Although we can take many more when necessary, we normally limit our group sizes to a maximum of 6 to 8 riders plus guide. With more riders, there would be 2 groups with guides, running either together (with a few minutes gap), or separately on the same or different trails.

I've no experience riding offroad motorbikes, what should I expect?

If you can ride a motorbike, you can ride a motorbike offroad. Our experienced guides will talk you through the basics of off-road riding before leaving on the first day, we'll set off on the easier trails, and move on to more difficult trails as your experience grows. Throughout the tour, we'll be more than pleased to offer riding advice, watch how you're doing, and help to make you a much better rider than you could have imagined.

What if I want to come by myself?

No problem - there's a 20€ per night surcharge for single-room occupancy, but other than that, no extra charges.

Do you run tours for groups of mixed ability and experience?

If a group of friends with different levels of offroad experience want to come riding together, then that's fine with us. Groups of less than 3 or 4 riders may be riding with others, however all riders will be of similar ability / experience.

Just how tough are the trails?

Our daily routes start from and return to our main base each day. Trails range from easy, with various different types of terrain, to more demanding, steep, rocky trails and dry river beds which will provide a challenge to even the most experienced rider. Less experienced riders will always have the option to ride around the more difficult parts, therefore minimising waiting times for the faster riders and so that slower riders do not feel pushed beyond their capabilities. What we promise on all offroad riding days, is that we'll choose routes to challenge all riders of all abilities, and at the end of every day, everyone will be smiling.

Why do I have to pay 20€ per riding day or agree to cover all damages up to 300€ when using company bikes or equipment?

The option is either to cover all damages up to 300€, or pay a non-refundable payment of 20€ per riding day for fully comprehensive insurance for company bikes and equipment. This is purely to safeguard against any substantial damage to the bikes or equipment, in the event of any incident occurring offroad. Be assured this is not for getting the bike a bit dirty or scratched, but is intended to cover the replacement of parts broken or damaged beyond economic repair. This is not a money-making exercise, and you will only be charged for the parts, not the labour for fitting them. This assures bikes and equipment are always of the highest standard. The 20€ per riding day option is a fully comprehensive insurance against damage to the bikes or gear whilst off-road, and is non-refundable.

What if I have an incident on the road, or with another vehicle offroad?

All clients are covered by third party road / offroad insurance through TrailbikeTours' policy. In the case of an incident on a tarred road, or with a third party offroad where the client is at fault, the client is responsible for all damage and insurance costs up to a maximum of 300€. This policy is aimed purely at encouraging safe and responsible riding both on and off-road, and due care and attention to other vehicles and riders whilst riding offroad.

Can I borrow riding gear?

Yes, we have a full range of scrupulously clean riding gear and personal protection equipment available to use at no extra cost. Kit includes Dainese full upper-body protection suit with integral back protector, chest, shoulder, elbow protection and kidney belt, Alpinestars Tech 3 boots, motocross top, trousers and gloves, Axo knee protectors and helmet (with removeable linings), and either Scott or Oakley goggles.

What is not included?

Evening meals are not included, but there are many excellent restaurants in the nearby towns and villages offering a varied range of local cuisine. Lunch is not included for rest days, but is always included in every riding day - we never ride a day without a full lunch!!

Anything you recommend us to take?

Your driving licence, which should be carried at all times whilst driving / riding in Spain. We recommend you take a lightweight waterproof jacket in case of wet or colder weather, and in the wintertime, an enduro jacket or similar, as well as the obvious thermal underwear. Should you happen to have a camelbak / water drinking system, then we recommend you take it.

Can I take any non-riding friends with me?

Yes, non-riding guests are also welcome - prices are available on request.

How do I pay?

We accept payment by bank transfer, credit card, and obviously cash in Euros.
