What is included in the package prices?

Package prices are based on twin-share hotel accommodation, and include breakfasts, lunches on riding days, guide, KTM 450 EXC, 530 EXC, 350 EXC or 500 EXC, fully-prepared offroad motorbike, 3rd party road insurance, all gear and fuel. Prices are based on twin-share accommodation with single rooms usually available for an additional 20 euros per night supplement.

How many riders will there be in a group?

Although we can take many more when necessary, we normally limit our group sizes to a maximum of 6 to 8 riders plus guide. With more riders, there would be 2 groups with guides, running either together (with a few minutes gap), or separately on the same or different trails.

What if I want to come by myself?

No problem - there is a 20€ per night surcharge for single-room occupancy, but other than that, no extra charges.

Just how tough are the trails?

Our Aragon routes start from and return to our main base each day. Trails range from easy, with various different types of terrain, to more demanding, steep, rocky trails and dry river beds which will provide a challenge to even the most experienced rider. Less experienced riders will always have the option to ride 'around' the more difficult parts, therefore minimising waiting times for the faster riders and so that slower riders do not feel pushed beyond their capabilities. What we promise on all our tours, is that we will choose routes to satisfy all riders, and that everyone will have a "holiday of a lifetime!!!"

Why do I have to pay 20€ / day or agree to cover all damages up to 300€ when using company bikes or equipment?

The option is either to agree to cover all damages up to 300€, or pay a non-refundable payment of 20€ per riding day for fully comprehensive insurance for company bikes and equipment. This is purely to safeguard against any substantial damage to the bikes or equipment, in the event of any "incident" occurring offroad. Be assured this is not for 'getting the bike a bit dirty or scratched', but is intended to cover the replacement of parts broken or damaged beyond economic repair. This is not a money-making exercise, and you will only be charged for the parts, not the labour for fitting them (assuming we can do the work in-house). This assures bikes and equipment are always of the highest standard. The 20€ per riding day option is a fully comprehensive insurance against damage to the bikes or gear whilst off-road, and is non-refundable.

What if I have an "incident" on the road, or with another vehicle?

All clients are covered by third party road insurance through TrailbikeTours' policy. In the case of an incident on a tarred road, or with a third party, including another rider, where the client is at fault, the client is responsible for all third-party damage and insurance costs up to the value of 300€. This policy is aimed purely at encouraging safe and responsible riding on-road, and due care and attention to other vehicles / riders.

How well protected are the bikes?

KTM offroad motorbikes are incredibly strong straight out of the factory, but we've also added heavy-duty 13-litre fuel tanks which do a great job in protecting the radiators. We have also fitted high-quality hand and sump guards. The KTM six-day models all have front and rear brake disc guards.

And how well protected will I be?

We use only the best available personal protection equipment. Kit includes Dainese body protection suit with integral back protector, chest, shoulder, elbow protection and kidney belt, Alpinestars Tech 3 boots, motocross top, trousers and gloves, Axo helmet and knee protectors and either Scott or Oakley goggles.

What is not included?

Evening meals are not included, but there are several restaurants in Valderrobres and the surrounding villages offering very good 3-course meals for 12 or 13 euros (drinks included). Lunch is not included for rest or travelling days. Clients should have personal medical and repatriation insurance. This can be arranged for UK-resident clients by TrailbikeTours through our arrangement with a leading British high-street insurer. The cost is a standard 25€ for the policy plus 5€ extra per riding day.

Anything else you recommend us to take?

Apart from the obvious passport and driving licence, a little pocket-money for drinks and any purchases you should make. We recommend you take a lightweight waterproof jacket in case of wet or colder weather, and in the wintertime, an enduro jacket or similar, as well as the obvious thermal underwear. Should you happen to have a camelback / water drinking system, then we recommend you take it.

Can I take any non-riding friends with me?

Yes, non-riding guests are also welcome - prices are available on request.

How do I pay?

We accept payment by bank transfer, credit / debit card, PayPal and obviously cash in Euros.
