We’re located near Valderrobres, the base for all our Aragon off road motorbike tours. Just an hour inland from the Costa Daurada in north‑eastern Spain, in the province of Teruel, Valderrobres sits in an unspoilt landscape of breathtaking natural beauty. It’s one of the great undiscovered gems of the Spanish countryside.
As the capital of the Matarraña district, a little known area of Aragon, often called "The Tuscany Of Spain", Valderrobres is surrounded by lush, verdant scenery - ancient olive and almond groves, immaculate vineyards, crystal clear mountain streams and natural swimming pools. Rich in culture and architecture, the town has been officially recognised by the Spanish Government as one of the most beautiful in Spain. Its immaculately preserved pueblo viejo (old town) is picture‑perfect, with authentic cafés, restaurants and tapas bars serving traditional country food at very modest prices — the ideal place to relax after a day out on the bikes.
Unlike the crowded, hot and humid Spanish costas, Valderrobres sits at 500 metres above sea level, right on the edge of the Els Ports Natural Park. Dirt trails lead out in every direction to rural villages and spectacular countryside, much of it unchanged for generations.
Valderrobres is well connected by several airports. Barcelona and Valencia are both around 2 hours 30 minutes away, while Zaragoza, Castellón and Reus airports are closer at roughly 1 hour 45 minutes or less, though with more limited flight options.
The town is also just an hour from the Mediterranean coast and an hour from MotorLand Aragón, the MotoGP racing circuit used for the Aragón Grand Prix each September, along with major motorsport events throughout the year.

Valderrobres enjoys a temperate, semi-mountainous climate. Warm in the summer, but because of the altitude of 500 metres above sea level and the much lower humidity, the climate is far more bearable than at the coast or further south in Spain. When it's 40 degrees plus there, it's less than 30 in Valderrobres, which is why so many Spanish riders head here in summer. Perfect offroad biking weather.
Cold winter mornings with pure blue cloudless skies soon lead to temperatures of mid-teens by mid-morning. What could be better?

One of the Most Beautiful Towns in Spain - Valderrobres was included in the original official list of 10, for obvious reasons.
