According to an old Russian saying, "There are no roads in Russia, only directions". Like hundreds of years ago, it's still the same - the "roads" are just ideas for a direction to go in. It means, everything you see around you is your riding terrain. Compared to other countries where we run offroad tours and have to stick to the trails, Russia offers a unique opportunity to RIDE WHEREVER YOU WANT TO.

The main reason for this freedom is the state ownership of most of the land. Like in the former socialist times the land actually belongs to nobody. So, if you see, let's say a hill, steep climb / decline or whatever, then just go there if you want to. Our itinerary concept for Ural Mountains off-road tours in Russia takes advantage of this freedom and gives you flexibility in terms of selecting your own comfortable degree of difficulty, whenever you want. Experienced riders can move alongside the trails and go up to their own riding limits for as long as they want to, where less experienced riders can stay on the trails and learn more of the advanced riding techniques needed for the more difficult stuff.
